OXBRiDGE Advisers is a certified British Council agent and counsellor. We are a UK education advisory firm founded by a family of old Etonians and alumni of University of Cambridge and University of Bristol. Collectively we have attended and provided advice on UK independent schools for more than 55 years.
All our education advisers are based in Oxford, a centuries old centre of excellence for UK education.
Who are we?
Whether you are looking for pre-preparatory (age 3-7), preparatory (age 7-13), secondary school (age 13-18) or sixth form (age 16-18), we provide one-to-one guidance for each of our pupils. OXBRiDGE Advisers specialises in tailored packages, creating short lists of appropriate schools for each pupil designed around their needs and ambitions.
Our advisory services ensure our pupils are fully ready for the right school. At OXBRiDGE Advisers we go beyond school selection. We provide academic and personal assessments for each pupil. We provide guidance on how to build an engaging student portfolio and prepare for entrance examinations and interviews. We can also assist with arranging school visits and ensuring our students’ transition to a new country and culture goes as smoothly as possible.
As a boutique consulting firm with a strong and established local UK network with leading independent schools, we are one of the first to receive first-hand information and updates on school directions, preferences, their latest admission policies and examination board requirements. We also have a handful of selected tutors specialising in subjects ranging from classics to art, music, ISEB/Common Entrance preparation, and languages including French, Spanish, Latin, Greek and Chinese. We are here to help you find the right school for your child. We work directly with admission officers to provide seamless communications between you and your chosen schools. The major points of entry for UK independent schools are 7+, 9+, 11+, 13+ and 16+.
